Tips

– Combine different types of cheese for a richer taste. Try mozzarella, Parmesan, goat cheese or feta for variety.
– After kneading the dough, let it rest and rise. This helps to develop the gluten and gives the dough the desired texture. The rising time may vary, but usually 1 hour in a warm place is sufficient.
– During rising, cover the dough ball with a damp cloth or plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out.

Place the flour together with the yeast, sugar, salt, olive oil and flour in a deep bowl. Mix well and knead the dough for 10-12 minutes until combined. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until the dough has doubled in size.

Turn the dough out onto a floured work surface and roll it out into a square.

Cut the dough into 9 pieces.

Place the tomato puree and water in a bowl. Mix well into a smooth sauce.

Place the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush the dough with the tomato sauce and top it with grated cheese, red pepper, green pepper, yellow onion, red onion, some extra grated cheese and sprinkle with some Italian herbs. Let the dough rise for 30 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.

Place the vegetable pizzas in a preheated oven at 200℃. Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the pizzas are nice and golden brown on the bottom.
