2 g coriander powder ⅔ tsp
2 g garlic powder ⅔ tsp
3 g curry powder 1 tsp
3 g cayenne powder 1 tsp
90 g peas
600 ml water boiled
Tips

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes first.

Rinse the basmati rice well under cold water until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch and prevents sticky rice.

Use pre-boiled water to save time and shorten the cooking time of the rice.

For a nice grill mark and extra flavor, you can use a grill pan instead of a regular frying pan.

A small piece of butter at the end of cooking will give the skewers a rich flavor and a beautiful gloss.

A fresh yogurt dip with garlic and mint pairs perfectly with this dish. For extra heat, you can add a bit of harissa or sambal.

Garnish the dish with extra fresh parsley or cilantro and perhaps some lemon slices for a fresh touch.

Leftovers can easily be reheated the next day. Store the rice and meat separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator.

Place the ground meat, salt, cayenne powder, turmeric powder, garlic powder, red bell pepper powder, cumin powder, sambal, chopped parsley, and olive oil in a bowl. Mix until well combined.

2

Take some of the ground meat and shape it into elongated skewers. Set them aside.

3

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chopped yellow onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add the carrot, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and chopped parsley. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
