The idea for these cute treats comes from the viral and popular dotcakes, but this version is quicker and easier. Just like the original cake, the combination of creamy filling and softened ladyfingers creates a delicious texture that gets even better after resting in the refrigerator.

CREAM
COATING
Tips
Do not whip the cream longer than necessary. Stop once stiff, otherwise the cream may become grainy.
Roll the pastries through the sprinkles immediately after brushing them with milk. This helps the sprinkles stick.
Let the dot pastries set in the refrigerator overnight if possible.
Store the dot pastries covered in the refrigerator to keep the cream firm and prevent the pastries from drying out.
Feel free to prepare the dot pastries a day in advance.
Remove the pastries from the refrigerator about 10 minutes before serving.
Instructions

Add the mascarpone, whipped cream stabilizer, granulated sugar, and vanilla sugar to a deep bowl. Mix for 1 minute. Gradually add the heavy cream while continuing to mix. Whip until firm. Transfer the cream into a piping bag fitted with a piping tip.

Take one ladyfinger and pipe a layer of cream on top. Place a second ladyfinger on top and gently press it.

Lightly brush the outside of the ladyfingers with milk and coat with a layer of cream.

Immediately roll the pastries through the sprinkles so they are fully coated on all sides.

Place the pastries on a piece of parchment paper. Pipe a dollop of cream on top. Cover the pastries and place them in the refrigerator. Allow to set for several hours, preferably overnight.
