Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes. Peel and finely chop the onion. Finely chop the parsley.

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until it starts to soften. Add the potatoes, ras el hanout, salt, garlic powder, cayenne pepper powder, cumin powder, parsley, and water. Stir well. Turn the heat to high until the water begins to bubble. Then reduce the heat and let the potatoes simmer, covered, for 22-28 minutes, or until they are tender. Check with a fork to see if the potatoes are cooked through.
