50 g green pesto

35 g Parmesan cheese
1 g dried basil ½ tbsp
20 ml milk
Tips

Ensure the water is lukewarm (around 35-40°C). Water that is too hot can kill the yeast, while cold water slows the rising process.

Cover the bowl to prevent the dough from drying out during rising. Place it in a warm spot in your home.

Covering the rolls with a towel after baking prevents them from drying out and keeps them soft. Use a clean cotton towel.

Combine the flour, salt, sugar, yeast, sunflower oil, and lukewarm water in a large bowl. Knead the dough for 10-12 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Divide the dough into 30 pieces, each weighing about 28 g, and shape into balls.

Place half of the balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

BREAD 1 (Chubby)

In a bowl, mix the strained tomato sauce, olive oil, and dried basil.

Slice the cherry tomatoes and black olives. Spread the sauce over the balls of dough. Sprinkle with grated cheese and top with a slice of tomato and olive.

BREAD 2 (Pesto)

Spread green pesto over the balls of dough. Sprinkle with grated cheese and optionally add a slice of cherry tomato for extra flavor and color.

BREAD 3 (Basil)

Flatten the dough ball slightly (to a diameter of 8 cm). Roll it up and seal the edges tightly.

In a bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese with dried basil. Brush with milk and roll them in the cheese mixture to coat evenly.

Place the dough on a parchment-lined baking tray and make a few shallow cuts with a sharp knife for a decorative finish.

Let all the rolls rise for about 30 minutes or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake the (all varieties) for 7-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove the bread from the oven and immediately cover with a clean kitchen towel to keep the bread soft.
